We often get asked what a Smash Burger is and we have found the best way to let people know is to just show them.
So here's how we do ours (there are many ways to do this)
Ingredients:
- 80/20 Beef Mince (you want a nice fatty mix)
- Brioche Rolls (or your preferred choice)
- Burger Cheese Slices
Method:
- Ball up 80g of the beef mince and place onto the hot griddle.
- After a few seconds, using a burger smasher/Press smash the burger into the surface LIKE YOU MEAN IT!
- Season the now smashed beef mice with your choice of seasoning (we use Smokey Rebel SPG)
- Once the edges of the patty start to crisp up its time to flip.
- Now its flipped allow the patty to cook for a few minutes then top with 2 slices of burger cheese.
- Whilst the cheese is melting toast off the brioche roll halves on the griddle until golden brown.
- Now we build. Bottom to top and remember to add the toppings before you put the lid on.
